Measuring Balloon Sinuplasty Success Rate

Quality of Life Scores Chart

Statistically significant quality of life improvement based on clinically validated method noted at 24 weeks post surgery. Breakdown of all patients, along with patients who underwent balloon dilation alone versus those who also had some tissue removed during the surgical procedure (hybrid).1

Long Term Quality of Life Scores

Statistically significant quality of life improvement based on clinically validated method consistent from 24 weeks to 2 years post surgery. No statistically significant difference between 24-week and 1-year data or between 1-year and 2-year data.2

Long Term Patient Satisfaction over 24 months

Patient responses to question: Please indicate how you feel your sinusitis symptoms are today as compared to your symptoms prior to the sinuplasty procedure. 85% of patients noted symptom improvement at 2 years post surgery. 2
